It contains 1,900 citations to various articles, monographs, and documents on homicide from the scientific literature, not the popular press. Items are arranged alphabetically by author, and the subject index uses broad headings to assist readers in locating information. Various subjects are included, from Jack the Ripper to in vitro fertilization. Most of the citations date from the late 1970s to early 1980s, but a few classics are included. Recommended for libraries containing criminal justice literature.
