  • This annotated bibliography provides the reader with a comprehensive survey of writings about the Holocaust and religious response: the impact of Christian anti-Semitism on the Holocaust and the Holocaust's impact on Christianity. It includes excellent, critical, and helpful annotations to literature in both journals and books....This volume provides coverage not found even in standard indexes, including the Index to Jewish Periodicals and ATLA Religion Index. It is highly recommended for public and academic libraries.

Description: The purpose of this annotated bibliography is to provide a comprehensive survey of writings about the Holocaust. The authors present an overview of topics including Christian anti-judentum, anti-semitism, the moral and religious response to the Nazi persecution and genocide of the Jews, and post-World War II responses to the Holocaust as they have appeared in the thousands of books and articles published on the Holocaust. The bibliography is divided into four topics with introductory comments that frame the theories put forward in the books and articles.
