Betsy E. Brown BETSY BROWN is Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs in the Office of the President of the 16-campus University of North Carolina. She is responsible for system-wide coordination of international programs, leadership development (directing the UNC Leadership Institute), and faculty support, including post-tenure review, phased retirement, and a range of other faculty programs.
