Kenneth P. Mortimer KENNETH P. MORTIMER is President Emeritus of Western Washington University and President and Chancellor Emeritus of the University of Hawai'i. Since 2002, he has been a Senior Associate at The National Center for Higher Education Management Systems. He has been Director of the Center for the Study of Higher Education and a Vice President and Vice Provost at Penn State. He holds an A.B. from the University of Pennsylvania, an M.B.A. from the Wharton School, and a Ph.D. from the University of California at Berkeley. Currently he is engaged in writing, consulting, and serving on boards. He resides in Bellingham, Washington. Books by this author:
