Joy Porter DR JOY PORTER is Assistant Dean of the School of Humanities at the University of Wales, Swansea, and teaches American and Native American history and literature. Her publications include To Be Indian: The Life of Iroquois-Seneca Arthur Caswell Parker (2001. Winner of American Library Association's Choice Magazine Outstanding Academic Title Award.
