Forthcoming in March 2006, the third enhancement to

Online will add around 1,000,000 words of full text content and 200
images from more than a dozen titles, including
The Daily Life of Jews in the
Middle Ages;
Culture and Customs of Morocco;
Sports and Games in the Ancient
World; and
The History of Ghana. New articles and special features continue
to be included to complement the existing content base.

Improved Statistics

Greenwood Publishing Group releases improved usage statistics, enabling
subscribers to check total searches and sessions by month and database.
Database statistics have been accepted as being COUNTER compliant under Release
1 of the COUNTER Code of Practice. Greenwood has been added to the list of
compliant vendors on at
www.projectcounter.org.
Release 2 of the Code of Practice will be issued in March 2006 and we are
already working to ensure we stay compliant.

This site has been designed to provide valuable tools for teaching History,
Economics, and Geography and to help teachers make the most of
Daily Life
Online products.
The site contains 50 DBQs, written by education experts and covering seven core
subject strands: American Government; American History; American History
(Civics); Economics; World Geography; World History (Ancient); World History
(Modern).
Each lesson plan consists of a teacher page and a student page, along with
supporting materials such as graphic organizers and assessment rubrics.

On August 3, 2005 Greenwood was proud to release the latest member in the
Daily
Life Online family.
World Cultures Today provides a one-stop
reference for questions on everyday life in the contemporary world, from food
to fashion, and from naming conventions to wedding rites. Existing
Daily Life
through History subscribers who buy
World Cultures Today will see
the new material fully integrated within their existing site—doubling the
content but keeping the familiar interface.
World Cultures Today pages
are blue to distinguish them from original
Daily Life through History,
and icons have been added to search results to indicate which source the result
is from.
